Background

Lazy Bear Games is a Vilnius-based video game development company founded in 2010 as GameJam by Nikita Kulaga and Sviatoslav Cherkasov. They changed their name to their current name in April 2015.

1st Logo (January 8, 2016-June 27, 2019)

Visuals: A brown bear is sleeping on its stomach on top of the stacked text "LAZY BEAR GAMES" in tan for the former word and the top of the middle word and a darker shade of said colour for the bottom of the middle word and the entirety of the latter word. The size of each word decreases in height, being halved from the height of the preceding word.

Technique: Sprite-based animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: The logo appears on Punch Club and Graveyard Keeper.

2nd Logo (May 9, 2019)

Visuals: On a black background, three characters from the aforementioned game, the left of which being Mona, runs towards a more vibrant and detailed version of the previous logo, with "GAMES" inside an orange box, on a spotlighted surface and modifies it within a ball of cloud. The final result shows the bear wearing violet shutter shades, a dark vest, and the word "SWAG" is spray painted onto the logo. The logo shines from bottom to top, followed by the shades.

Technique: Sprite-based animation.

Audio: There is high-pitched gibberish from the characters alongside running sound effects. After a bang-like sound effect, a rising shine ending with a ding is heard.

Availability: This is a custom variant used specifically for Swag and Sorcery.

3rd Logo (May 15, 2023)

Visuals: Set on a black-dark steel blue small segmented line background, a cyan projecting laser forms the logo from before from bottom to top. The logo gains its colour from last time and the bear snores afterwards.

Technique: Sprite-based animation.

Audio: A deep, laser buzzing sound effect followed by a few descending, bit-crushed ringing notes.

Availability: The logo only appeared on Punch Club 2: Fast Forward.

4th Logo (February 21, 2024)

Visuals: Set on a black background with a dark blue spotlight in the centre, the bear from before is formed through a wiping, pixelated effect from the inside. The bear starts snoring and slightly waving its leg after its formation. Then, "LAZY BEAR" appears through the fade-in of its lateral orange faces and then a wiping effect from top to bottom, giving it its full colours. The orange bar from before expands underneath from the centre alongside "GAMES" albeit slightly delayed from the bar's formation.

Technique: Sprite-based animation.

Audio: There are several whooshes in-sync with the text gaining their colours. The bear's snoring is heard afterwards.

Availability: The logo appears on Bandle Tale: A League Of Legends Story.
