Background

MachineGames was originally established in 2009 in Uppsala, Sweden by the founders of Starbreeze Studios. After being purchased by ZeniMax Media in November 2010, the team went on to release their first product, a continuation of Id Software's Wolfenstein series entitled The New Order.

(May 20, 2014-)

Logo: On a gray gradient, a mirrored image of a machine gun on top of a chainsaw is shown, starting out as a bizarre machinery shape. It slowly expands, forming a more clear image of what it is as well as forming a perfect horizontal/vertical mirror of itself. As the shape is just done forming, "MACHINEGAMES" wipes in the middle.

Variant: The entire logo sometimes fades to red just as the name is appearing.

FX/SFX: The logo forming and reversing.

Music/Sounds: A series of whirring sounds.

Availability: Seen on Wolfenstein: The New Order, its expansion pack The Old Blood, and its sequel The New Colossus.
