Background: Founded in 1982 by Bruce Carver and Chris Jones in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Following the acquisition of [[Access Software]] by [[Take-Two Interactive]] in October 2004, the company was renamed to '''Indie Built'''. In January 2005, the studio became part of Take-Two's [[2K Games]] label. Following a poor financial performance at Take-Two, Indie Built was closed down in May 2006.

Background

Following the acquisition of Access Software by Take-Two Interactive in October 2004, the company was renamed to Indie Built. In January 2005, the studio became part of Take-Two's 2K Games label. Following a poor financial performance at Take-Two, Indie Built was closed down in May 2006.
