9UNZ

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

Logo (March 14, 2024)

Visuals: A set of thick gold vertical bars of varying widths quickly enter the screen on a black background to become the merged text "9unz" with the number twice as big and upper aligned to the rest of the text. Not long after the screen inverts colors, an error message resembling those from Windows XP suddenly pops in on the bottom right section of the screen. The header, message, and button reads "UNABLES (tm) Error Message", "UNABLES (tm) program caused an error in the 9UNZ S.A program and will now quit.", and "Give up" respectively. A cursor scrolls in to click on the button, flickering the screen to a blue background and changing the colour of the logo to black.

Technique: Flash animation.

Audio: The opening theme of the game plays until the error message pops it, where the Windows Vista ding sound effect is heard. A single mouse click plays as the button clicks on the error message's button.

Availability: The logo appears on Unables.
