BottleRocket Entertainment

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

1st Logo (April 5, 2005)

Visuals: On a tan-tinted page background, multiple calligraphic vertical and horizontal lines arrange through either a choppy slide and quick scribble effect. Before the logo stops zooming out, the lines form an outline of two rounded rectangular boxes: the top of which being the tallest and containing a skull and game controller, whereas the bottom features the rounded letters "br", with the "r" flipped. A gray cloud fills in the logo while "bottleRocket entertainment", in a stacked format and a rounded, blocky font, appears below through a slide down and cloudy transition. The lines continue to trace the outline of the logo before its transformation plays in reverse, followed by the text disappearing through the same effect.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A lush, Japanese cultural-themed soundtrack with a piano, shrill flute at the beginning, a triangle following it, and a drum and koto at the end.

Availability: The logo is seen on Rise of the Kasai.

2nd Logo (November 14, 2006)

Visuals: On a white background, the boxes from before fly out and place themselves in the center of the screen. Throughout this sequence, they gain and lose brightness before darkening and settling on a black color. After another quick lightness bounce, "bottleRocket" from before appears through a center wiping and spacing reduction effect. "entertainment" follows suit with the same transition but with a spacing increase, slightly reducing the size of the spacing after extending marginally from the length of "rottleRocket". Afterwards, the screen inverts and fades to black.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: An epic, cinematic warrior drum and choral fanfare.

Availability: The logo is seen on Xiaolin Showdown for the PSP, Xbox, and PS2.
