Background
Abbey Home Entertainment was a company founded in 1990 by Anne and Ian Miles that distributed children's material on home media, alongside releasing cassettes. The company later acquired the Tempo Video label, and later created the Tempo Pre-School label. In 1996, PolyGram acquired a stake in the company which they later sold in 1999. In 2000, the company was acquired by Just Entertainment and was folded by the company shortly after. On March 4, 2002, Ian and his wife, Anne, both founded Abbey Home Media to continue on releasing children's material, and later acquired the ex-Just assets.
