Background

Trytel International Video (TIV) was a UK independent video label active from around August of 1981 that distributed over 27 titles in which only around 3 of them were released into videocassette.

Logo (August 1981)

Visuals: On a hot pink background, pairs of whites appear one by one at a time, with the last ring being thicker than the others. After they all appear, "TI\" appears one by one. Finally, a arrow emerges from the bottom of the slash, wrapping around the rings and stopping at the lower middle, forming "TIV"

Variant: A variant exists where the background is green. The rings and text are also black and yellow, respectively.

Technique: Cel animation.

Audio: Silent for the first half, a synth beat plays when the text appears, which is actually "Arp Odyssey (7)" by Alan Hawkshaw.

Availability: They distributed around 27 films into videocassettes, most of them are of Arabic language. Unfortunately, only 3 of them were released which were Eegah, Gallery of Horror, and Tomb of the Undead. They have been known to be very hard to find and might not end up on eBay. You might be lucky if you find a pre-cert videocassette with the TIV print on it in some rental shop.
