Background

Korean April 26 Animation Studio (known outside North Korea as SEK Studio) is a North Korean animation studio based in Pyongyang. The studio creates animated shorts, propaganda films, and TV series of Korean fables being made in different animation formats for both domestic and foreign audiences. The studio also made overseas works such as Papa Beaver's Storytime for CINAR, Bamboo Bears, etc.
