Background

M.O.F.C. was ADV's own DVD authorizing studio. It authorized and encoded DVDs of anime; including other material such as Japanese cinema. However, the company was absorbed into Seraphim Digital Studios; once the sucessors: AeSir Holdings, Sentai Filmworks, Maiden Japan, and Switchblade Pictures, made room for anime and Japanese cinema distribution.

Visuals: On a black background, a paper, like those kind you see on dot matrix printers, slides up, facing the top left corner of the screen. The letters "M.O.F.C." slam on the paper one by one. The paper shifts up, allowing the letters "AUTHORING AND ENCODING" to slam on the paper as well. The paper shifts up more afterward. The text says:

M.O.F.C.

AUTHORING AND ENCODING

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A sliding noise, punching noises, and some clicks.

Availability: Seen at the end of later ADV Films releases on DVD. This includes Burn Up!, Burn Up W and Burn Up Excess.
