Inter-Light Video

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

Logo (1981-mid 1980s)

Visuals: On a black background, a octagon wipes in line-by-line from the right and within it, a conjoined "iLV" is wiped in part-by-part. Below the logo, in an angular font, "Inter-Light Video" appears line-by-line. Everything is given a multicolored gradient that scrolls, with a white line appearing from time to time.

Technique: Sprite-based computer animation.

Audio: None, but sometimes a 4-note synth tune plays in ascending order, before the final note plays in a held, low-tune style.

Availability: Seen on releases from the company during the pre-cert era, like City of the Living Dead, The Last Game, and Death Driver. Some were also distributed by Intervision while some were self-distributed.
