Background

Canon Video was one of the off-shoot video labels of Video Programme Distributors. It was infamous for their video nasty The Werewolf and the Yeti.

Logo (1980?-1983?)


Visuals: On a red background, the white text "CANON", in a Gill Sans Ultrabold font and with a ring around the "O" is seen at the top of the screen. Underneath it, the text "VIDEO" is set directly under the "O", with lines on each side of it, and the text "PRESENTS" at the bottom of the screen.

Technique: A still, printed image.

Audio: None.

Availability: Appears on their release of The Werewolf and the Yeti, as well as the original pre-cert release of Behind Convent Walls and about 3 other titles.
