Logo (1980's)

Visuals: Starting off on a black background, a picture, consisting of a 19th century French copper lantern against a gray background with blurry, light red and light blue lights in the background, slowly flips and covers the screen. Then, two different desk latern pictures with a black border fill the screen in sixteen coppies. One of them is coloured pink while the other has a rainbow-coloured box and is facing the right. "LANTERNE MAGIQUE" in a gold box cover the screen starting from the left centre before zooming out into the eighth lantern's glass. The same sequence happens again but with the company's logo against the gold box. It consists of "Adès" with a rough horizontal purple box overlapping the left side of the first letter, an underline underneath the text, and the other three letters stacked from top to bottom. Underneath the logo is "DEPARTEMENT VIDEO" in a stacked format. Then, the same zoom in and out sequence happens yet again but with the rainbow-coloured lantern on top of a gold tube box reading the same text from the first sequence. It remains on screen but pixelates for a few seconds before stopping entirely.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A soothing synth piano soundtrack.

Availability: It was seen on a French VHS of Wizard of Oz.
