1st Logo (November 19, 1959-December 30, 1967)
Logo: On a black background we see a stylized capital "A" with "JAY WARD" and "PRODUCTION" beneath it. Two lines with 3 scribles between them are seen below the text. A cherub sketch with glasses is seen towards the left of the text with its hand out. Copyright text is seen below in a black rectangle.
Variants: There are different variants:
- On Fractured Flickers, a cherub's wing is flying and the text and the sketch is moving left.
- On Hoppity Hooper, a cherub sketch with glasses from the said show, TBA.
- On George of the Jungle, just the white text that says "JAY WARD PRODUCTIONS, INC."
Technique: None. On Fractured Flickers, traditional animation is used.
Music/Sounds: Presumably the closing theme of the program.
Availability: Seen on shows produced by the company such as The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. Hopefully, this hasn't been plastered by the Classic Media logo on recent prints.
2nd Logo (October 9, 2015-January 11, 2019)
Logo: On a white background, we see a close-up of Bullwinkle on the left. Next to it is "Jay Ward" in orange with a red outline, and underneath the text is the word "Productions, Inc." in red.
Technique: None.
Music/Sounds:
- On The Mr. Peabody and Sherman Show, we hear the sound of a moose calling.
- On the reboot of The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle, none.
Availability: Seen on The Mr. Peabody and Sherman Show and the 2018 reboot of The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle.
