Background
A.P.P.P. was a Japanese animation studio founded in June 22, 1984 by Kazafumi Nomura. The name of the studio means Another Push Pin Planning. The company's best known anime is the OVA Hentai Cream Lemon (made together with Fairy Dust), the OVA Robot Carnival, the anime movie Project A-ko and the infamous JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood movie, which was known to be lost due a controversy revolving around one of their OVAs' characters reading the Quran. Only clips from the movie survive. According to the company's website, on July 15, 2021 they are no longer accepting projects.
