Technique: A still, computerized graphic.

Audio: None or the ending theme of the commercial.

2nd Tag (1998-2003)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a blue metallic rectangle, with the text "Built" and "to Last" atop and beneath the rectangle, with a lighter streak and the Ford logo in the middle. The url "www.ford.com" can be seen below. The logo shines.

Audio Varians: On original CBS airings of the two-part season 10 finale of Murphy Brown, titled "Never Can Say Goodbye", a female announcer (possibly Candice Bergen, who also stars as the titular character) says "This special episode of Murphy Brown is sponsored exclusively by Ford Division, maker of a full line of vehicles designed to fit your life and built to last" or "This special episode of Murphy Brown is sponsored exclusively by Ford Division. Wherever you go in life, Ford has a vehicle that will get you there. Ford, built to last".

    • A Spanish variant exists, where "Llega Más Lejos" (the direct translation of "Go Further") is used instead.
