Background

Dolly is a guaraná soft drink company based in Diadema, Saõ Paulo and founded in 1987. Dolly currently amounts to 10% of the national soft drink market share in Brazil. Since 2004, the product has gained notoriety for its mascot, Dollynho, a humanoid bottle who appears on most of Dolly's commercials since that period.

Visuals: On the ending shot of the commercial, the word "DOLLY", in a white serif font and positioned in a slight diagonal way to the upper-right, appears wiping in. At the bottom-right of the logo, the text "O MELHOR", in a silver sans font, pops out in 3D and slightly rotates.

Variants:

  • On the 2011 Dollynho commercial, the "DOLLY" text fades in zooming to the screen. Dollynho rises up on the bottom-left, doing a kissing gesture, and then briefly waves to view.
  • On the summer commercials, the "DOLLY" text appears by a watery effect.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The ending of the commercial, which is usually Dolly's own jingle.

Availability: Seen on many recent Dolly commercials, most famously the Dollynho series of ads.
