Background

PT Mayora Indah Tbk, a food and beverage company in Indonesia, was established on February 17, 1977. It is known for producing the Kopiko brand, which is recognized as the largest coffee candy manufacturer globally. Mayora has been publicly listed on the Jakarta Stock Exchange (now Indonesia Stock Exchange) since July 4, 1990, with PT Unita Branindo holding 32.93% of shares. The company's origins date back to 1948 when a family of Iranian immigrants started making biscuits, with Marie Biscuits being their first product. Mayora was formally established in 1977 and started with a factory in Tangerang, west of Jakarta, and launched Kopiko in 1982. The company expanded its presence in other Asian countries after going public in 1990. Mayora's Kopiko snacks were served during a Thanksgiving dinner held by astronauts at the International Space Station in November 2017. In 2019, Mayora's founder and head, Jogi Hendra Atmadja, was ranked as the 10th richest person in Indonesia, with a net worth of $3 billion by Forbes.

1st Tag (1991-2012)

Visuals: Over the last shot of a commercial, a shady white plane slides into view as two red quarter circle shapes appear and rotate over it, forming an abstract "m". At the same time, a red segmented circle zooms out and places itself above the "m". "MAYORA" in red zooms out from the right and places itself below the "m". The white plane background turns into solid white.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A male announcer says "Satu lagi dari Mayora."

Availability: Seen on commercials of Mayora products in the 90s and occasionally in the 2000s-2010s, such as Roma commercials and Energen commercials.

2nd Tag (2008)

Visuals: Over a white background sits a beveled glossy version of the Mayora logo from before, with "satu lagi dari" in black above it. The logo shines.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: A ding sound.

Availability: Only used for a short period of time in 2008.

Final Note

Currently, commercials of Mayora products do not have a Mayora end tag, opting to use their brand's end tag or none.
