Background

This is the company logo for Get a Load of Milk campaign owned by the Dairy Farmers of Ontario, which was a series of 5-second mixed media ads that aired on TV encouraging people to drink more milk that lasted throughout the late 2000s to early 2010s. Their logo (shown below) appears at the end of all commercials produced.

1st Logo (2008?-2014?)

The Get a Load of Milk logo, post-cow.
The Get a Load of Milk logo, post-cow.

Visuals: On a white background, there is a circle with the words “Get a load of Milk” around it and a blue sky inside with a Holstein cow in it. The cow then “roars” and hides back just as the Milk logo comes along and closes it. Liquid vibrations are in the background.

Technique: A mix of live action animation and visual effects.

Audio: The distorted moo of the cow (which sounds like a filtered roar), a swoosh, a loud boom and a cowbell being struck 4 times.

Availability: This logo appears at the end of each and every commercial produced in the campaign to date.
