Background

Mattel Electronics is the brand name used by Mattel for interactive systems and electronic-based toys.

1st Logo (2007)

Visuals: There is the Mattel logo, off-center to the left over a white background. An antenna grows out from the Mattel logo to the right, and the text "electronics" appears spinning out around the logo. The Mattel logo is seen glowing. Below, the slanted tagline "UNA NUEVA FORMA DE JUGAR." slides in.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A zapping noise with a male voice saying "Mattel Electronics. Una nueva forma de jugar."

Availability: It was seen on Latin American commercials for Cube World toys.

2nd Logo (2007)

Visuals: There is the Mattel logo appearing on a white background, upside down. We then turn into normal position as the background fills up with a yellow paint pattern, while the red letters of "ELECTRONICS" pop in, with each letter zooming in white. The logo then zooms out slightly while the antenna grows out of the logo and the tagline "UNA NUEVA FORMA DE JUGAR." appears below. Circular borders are shown coming out of the antenna in a few seconds, and the background stops moving.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: Just the voice from before.

Availability: It was seen on Latin American commercials for Pixel Chix toys.
