Background

Magyar Telekom Nyrt (officially known as Magyar Telekom Távközlési Nyilvánosan Működő Részvénytársaság) is a telecommunications service provider in Hungary. It operates as a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom. Previously known as Matáv (Magyar Távközlési Rt. – Hungarian Telecommunications PLC), the company was established in December 1989 when Magyar Posta (Hungarian Post) was divided into three separate entities. It became a public limited company, Magyar Távközlési Rt., on December 31, 1991. Privatization became possible on July 1, 1993, following the implementation of the Telecommunications Act. Until the end of 1993, the company remained entirely state-owned. Then, a consortium named MagyarCom, comprising Deutsche Telekom and Ameritech, acquired a 30.1% stake in the company for US$875 million.

1st Logo (2004-2007)

Visuals: On a white background, there is the T-Mobile logo with the slogan "Jobb veled a világ".

Variants:

A variant where either the T-Online or T-Kábel logo also exists.
Also, the T-Online variant has a variation where the slogan is replaced by the URL. Also, a telephone number appears at the right.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The Telekom jingle with an announcer that says "Jobb veled a világ" in Hungarian.

Audio Variants: The T-Online URL variant just has the Telekom jingle.

Availability: Seen on most commercials of Magyar Telekom between 2004 and 2007.

2nd Logo (May 2005)

Visuals: On a cloudy background, there is a hand or cube with the Magyar Telekom divisions before the Magyar Telekom logo appears with the slogan "Összhangban a világgal".

Variant: A variant where the logo appears with the hand also exists.

Technique: 2D computer animation, live-action and CGI.

Audio: The commercial's theme, followed by the Telekom jingle with an announcer that says "Összhangban a világgal" in Hungarian.

Availability: Seen on some Magyar Telekom commercials from 2005.

3rd Logo (2007-2008)

Visuals: On a white background, there is the T-Mobile logo with the slogan "Mindig. Veled" in silver and pink text.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The Telekom jingle with a Hungarian announcer that says T-Mobile.

Availability: This is only used for a year, but it has been seen on 2007 to 2008 Magyar Telekom ads.

4th Logo (2008-2010)

Visuals: On a black or magenta background, the screen zooms out of the T-Mobile or T-Home logo with the slogan "Együtt. Veled" and the URL in gray or black text.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The Telekom jingle with a Hungarian announcer that says "T-Mobile, Együtt. Veled" or "T-Home, Együtt. Veled".

Audio Variants: On the Christmas commercials, there is a different arrangement of the Telekom jingle with Christmas instruments. also, this version dosen't have an announcer.

Availability: Seen on Magyar Telekom commercials between 2008 and 2010.

5th Logo (2010-2013)

Visuals: There is a white background fade in with either the T-Mobile, T-Home or Telekom logo in magenta, then there is the slogan "Együtt. Veled" and the URL.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: Same as the 4th logo, but the Telekom variant simply says "Együtt. Veled".

Audio Variants: Same as the 4th logo, but with the announcer.

Availability: Like the previous logos it's not used in any commercials anymore, but at this point Magyar Telekom already had a YouTube channel with ads containing this logo. Seen on Magyar Telekom commercials between 2010 and 2013.

5th Logo (2013-2022)

Visuals: On a magenta background is the 2013 Deutsche Telekom logo popping up.

Variants:

From 2014 to 2017, there would be a transition with boxes appearing closer and closer to the screen. All of them would be in different shades of magenta. Their slogan at the time, "Együtt. Veled", also fades next to the Telekom logo.
In some cases, the slogan would fade in alongside the boxes, after which it moves to the right to make space for the Telekom logo.
Starting with 2017, the boxes at the beginning of the endtag would be dropped.
Various endtags with URLs exist.
Various early ads featured a 4:3 endtag.
There is also an endtag with the 2:2:1 aspect ratio.
In 2020, the slogan started to appear less frequently.
The 2020 endtag also has a version with the Telekom URL.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The Telekom jingle. Various variants of it were made over time, changing its instruments.

Availability: The tag can be seen on their "Minden törődéssel többek leszünk!" advert, among others from this period. All of these endtags can be found on Telekom's YouTube channel, however, but like the previous ones they don't appear on TV channels anymore.

5th Logo (2022-)

Visuals: Over the playing commercial, the outline of the 2022 Telekom logo is being formed, getting filled and becoming bigger after a few seconds. A magenta background later appears.

Variants:

A wider version exists.
On some ads, the logo starts directly on the magenta background.
Starting with late 2023, after the Telekom logo's animation finishes, it slightly zooms in and simultaneously fades out to its slogan "Connecting your world".

Availability: It appears on newer Telekom ads such as their "Hogy vagy" Christmas advert.
