Background

Haier Group Corporation is a Chinese multinational home appliances and consumer electronics company headquartered in Qingdao, Shandong. It designs, develops, manufactures and sells products including refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, dryers, microwave ovens, mobile phones, computers, and televisions.

1st Tag (1996-1998)

Visuals: Starts with a blue starfield background. A light appears and wipes in a line, which then flips into a circle in perspective. Ray lights come out from the circle, as a drawing of two boys (known as the Haier Brothers) is revealed near the bottom of it. The rays then disappear as the background turns into plain blue, turning the circle into a white iris, with the drawing of the two boys and "Haier" above shown in front of it.

Variant: There is a more common, still version of this logo.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The music from the commercial and the Chinese announcer.

Availability: Seen on commercials from the time frame.

2nd Tag (Late 2000s)

Visuals: The Haier logo in red over a black or white background.

Variant: For the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the logo was placed on a white background alongside the Beijing Olympics logo, with the sponsor info below it.

Technique: Computer animation or none.

Audio: The tail end of the commercial.
