Background

Grupo Aguila was a Spanish video distributor company which is based on Ayala, Madrid. The company currently owns 2 companies at the moment, which is Video Joven and Roller. The company also distributed movies under the label Malibu Video.

1st Logo (Mid 1980's)

Visuals: On a black-blue gradient space background, there is the golden "GA" shape with 9 golden stripes that resembles a wing, with the silvered "GRUPO AGUILA S.A." text next to it, with glowing stars applied onto it. The text "CINE/VIDEO Producciones y Distribuciones" is seen zooming in, moving & flipping itself into it's remaining position.

Audio: None.

Availiability: This was seen on their mid-1980's releases. [Examples?]

2nd Logo (Mid-Late 1980's)

Visuals: On a black background, there is the text "GRUPO AGUILA" with a white shade rotating & zooming out, while a shape of an eagle is seen zooming & rotating in a blurry effect whilst it changes its colors. Then the text "PRESENTA" fades in. It fades out after 10 seconds.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: Unknown.

Availability: This was usually spotted on their mid-late 1980's releases. This logo can also be seen on releases under the label Malibu Video. [Examples?]

3rd Logo (Late 1980's-Early 1990's?)

Visuals: On a black-blue gradient background, there is the eagle from before, but now in red, which is seen moving and zooming in. The texts "GRUPO" and "AGUILA" slide & collide together as it forms parts of the text on white onto the eagle. The text "PRESENTA" is being typed in.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: This was seen on their late-1980's releases.
