1st ID (October 7, 2008-July 3, 2015)

Visuals: There are 4 idents as described below:

  • Bullet through the Glass: There is a wall of glass, then a bullet goes through the wall and smashes the glass. Through it, a bunch of sentences fall out to the ground, then it fades to another glass wall. The same thing happens but there is a white circle with the word "alibi" inside it, which stands still in its position.
  • Crime Scene: There is sentences joining together to create the shape of a figure and once it's done, a red circle with the word "alibi" inside it drips in to resemble blood. In front of these, there is a line with the words "CRIME SCENE DO NOT CROSS" on it.
  • Safe: There is the dial of a safe, with numbers and the sentences around the entire dial, before the revealing the shot of the entire dial with the word "alibi" forming in the middle of the dial.
  • Woods: There is the POV of a victim running through the woods, whilst sentences of what the victim is currently experiencing is flown on top before stopping as soon as the victim sees the Alibi logo.

Technique: Realistic CG animation. Directed by Sandra Goddard at Red Bee Media.

Audio: Various sounds corresponding to the on-screen actions, followed by a woman whispering "Alibi". Composed by Adelphoi Music.

2nd ID (July 3, 2015-)

Visuals: On all four idents, there is shots of red strings going all over through the area that they are in; these include a carpark, a bank, an underpass, and a forest. When it switches to a perfect shot of this, the Alibi logo gets drawn on the middle of the screen with the circle and the letters first, then the circle is filled with red and the dot in the last "i" becomes black.

Technique: 2D animation superimposed over live-action footage. These idents were designed by Mike Moloney and William Mercer at Art&Graft.

Audio: Over the background noise, four string notes are heard, followed by a 4/4 string arrangement with descending clicking noises as the logo is formed.
