Fox Digital Entertainment (formerly "Fox Mobile Entertainment"), is a video game subsidiary of 20th Century Fox (now known as 20th Century Studios) that produces apps and games for various portable devices out there, usually based on 20th Century Fox properties. It is in some ways the spiritual successor to Fox Interactive. The company was ceased operations in 2017 and it was merged to FoxNext Games along with 20th Century Fox Games.

1st Logo (2008-2009)

Logo: On a blue background, we see a white box with a blue picture of white searchlights in the middle in the top, and the blue words "FOX Mobile Entertainment" at the other parts.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: None or the opening theme of the game.

Availability: Seen on games and apps released at the time such as Ice Age: Mammoth Mayhem.

2nd Logo (2009-2010)

Logo: On a white background, we see the FOX network logo next to two blue searchlights pointing at it, with a gray line below. Under the gray line is the blue text "MOBILE ENTERTAINMENT".

Trivia: This logo is based on the Fox Business Network logo.

Variant: On The Simpsons Arcade, the logo is shiny and gray, seen on an arcade monitor.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: None or the opening theme of the game.

Availability: Common. Can be seen on Family Guy: Uncensored and The Simpsons Arcade (not to be confused with the original 1992 Konami arcade game).

3rd Logo (2010-2017)

Logo: We see the word "FOX" with two searchlights inside the "X". Beneath it is the text "DIGITAL ENTERTAINMENT".

Variants:

  • The word "FOX" can either be white, gray, or black.
  • On The Simpsons: Tapped Out, the logo is at the bottom left corner, below the Gracie Films logo and next to the Electronic Arts logo.
  • Sometimes, the searchlights are blue.

Availability: No longer current since the closure of the company. It's seen on Predators, Angry Birds Rio and The Simpsons: Tapped Out, among others.
