1st ID (March 28, 1954-1968)

Visuals: On a starry space background, a drawing of the earth is shown with the text "WKAQ-TV" in front of the globe and "Telemundo" and "Canal 2" on the top and bottom of the globe.

Technique: A still printed image.

Audio: A male announcer speaking something in Spanish.

2nd ID (1968-1980)

Visuals: The logo starts off with a multi-colored sphere cut in half, as well as the white number "2" form on a black background. When the sphere is done, the white text "Telemundo" appears, with the white text "WKAQ-TV" following suit, each letter appearing one-by-one. When the "2" is completely drawn, the white text "San Juan" appears, along with the white text "Puerto Rico" afterwards. Finally, "Telemundo" appears a second time in the same color. Throughout the logo, the sphere is flashing various colors.

Variant: A 20th Anniversary variant exists, and it goes like this:

  • The logo plays warpspeed (except San Juan-WKAQ-TV appears instead), then the "2" goes to the left side of the logo, and the number "0" draws as the text switches to the white words "Ponce-WHUP-TV". Then the "0" switches to the number "2" as the text switches once again to "Mayaguez-WUHM-TV". Then both the "2"s wipe away as the multi-colored numbers "2", "20", and "22" appear. Then the multi-colored text "Telemundo" appears once a map of Puerto Rico has been drawn. Finally, the logo ends when it turns into a sphere and flies to the left while spinning.

Technique: Traditional animation. For the variant, it's a mix of traditional animation and CGI.

Audio: A Spanish theme involving drums and trumpets, as well as a male announcer saying all of the text described, except for the 2nd "Telemundo". He also says something involving "Canal Dos"

Audio Variants: The male announcer has different speaking lines in the variant.

3rd ID (1980)

Visuals:

  • Part A: On a white background, the stylized number "2" slowly flashes different colors, while the logo gets closer to the "2". The text "WKAQ" appears, where each letter pops up at once. Once the "2" zooms out, it deforms into a hand holding up the pointing finger. Then, the hand lifts its middle finger, and it launches upwards similar to a rocket, which sends stars everywhere.
  • Part B: On a space background, the same hand as Part A is seen at the bottom right corner. One of the fingers contains the stylized "2" along with the hand holding the same fingers as the last part, and the text "WKAQ-TV". As the hand moves, it gets closer revealing the "2" and "WKAQ" more efficiently. finally, the hand backs up and goes to the top left corner.
  • Part C: The same hand as before is seen setting itself on the moon. The hand's pinky finger moves up and stairs come out of it. What is revealed inside is a man with green overalls, black and white glasses, and a green hat. The man skips to the front of the screen and gets a yellow flag with the stylized number "2" with the hand & text that says "WKAQ-TV" and "San Juan Puerto Rico". The logo ends off with the logo getting closer to the flag.

Technique: Traditional Animation.

Audio: Depends on the ident. All of them include an announcer in different tones (Part A has its echo, Part B has it sound like it's from a radio, & Part C kept it normal), as well as their respective sound effects syncing the visuals.

4th ID (1980-1986)

Visuals: The logo starts off as a space background with a white explosion. The same number "2" as last time is revealed. The "2" turns at a different angle and shines, with another white explosion following. The "2" quickly goes to the left and another explosion occurs, which reveals the text

WKAQ-TV
Telemundo

Finally, both the "2" and the aforementioned text shine for the remaining time.

Variant:

  • There are different variants showing different channels and the numbers of the channel. This includes the following:
    • WORA-TV (Channel 5) - The ident appears dimmed unlike others similar to it.
    • WCRA (Channel 5)
  • Also, there's a 30th Anniversary variant that shows the number "30" and the text "Años" in the middle shining. The two turns to reveal the "2" brighter than usual. Then the text "WKAQ-TV Telemundo" appears, also brighter than usual. Afterwards, a live-action arm with a torch gets in front of the "2" before a white burst appears in front of the arm, making the hand in a cartoon-like style with the torch in gold. Finally, the text and number shine.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A chime theme along with a few whooshes & a male announcer saying "Esta es WKAQ-TV, Telemundo. San Juan, Puerto Rico.".

Audio Variants: Sometimes, the announcer has different lines, specifically for the variants.
