Background

In 1996, Teleac was merged with NOT, after which the broadcaster continued under the then-current moniker.

1st ID (1996-2000)

Visuals: The visuals of the NOT 1993-1996 ident is shown, but the former broadcaster's logo is replaced with the then-current logo, which is the words "TELEAC NOT" with part of the "C" attached with an azure curved "A" shape at the top, and a red arc attached to the left-most of the "N".

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Same as the aforementioned.

2nd ID (2000-2002)

Visuals: The camera zooms into a silver shape with holes that some corresponding shapes spin and cover around the hole, as it zooms into one of them leading to another silver shape with the broadcaster's logo and "educatieve omroep" embedded in the shape with a group of 6x2 cut rectangles with footages in each in random places. The camera slides through the hole as it leads to more groups of rectangles, as the camera goes through one of them, leading to the program.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A brief orchestral ditty, composed by Renger Koning.

3rd ID (2002-2009)


Visuals: On a white background, various shapes form in the background with drop shadows and with some footages (or sometimes no footages) being shown. From the middle, a group of navy-teal colored shapes subsequently slide in at random places before standing in each corresponding group, as the separated letters "TELEAC" fade in each corresponding ones. "WEER iets GELEERD vandaag" appear in note order below. The Publieke Omroep logo may or may not appear on the lower-right corner.

Variants:

  • A 40th anniversary variant exists.
  • For SchoolTV programs, the words "TELEAC" is replaced by "SCHOOLTV" and the shapes are colored in green and blue. Also, the silhouettes of the school kids were showing.
  • For PeuterTV programs (starting in 2004), the words "TELEAC" is replaced by "PEUTERTV and the shapes have red, yellow, pink, green, orange and blue, respectively. Plus, the shapes are jumping and flying to form the logo.
  • Sometimes, the text reads "Dit was een programma van" with the broadcaster's logo to the right of the text.

Technique: Computer animation by Valkeiser.

Audio: A reverse cymbal crash that leads to a deep tone, and three piano notes.

Audio Variants:

  • The 40th anniversary variant uses a triumphant version of the theme.
  • The SchoolTV variant has the hip-hop version of the theme with the sounds of the children.
  • The PeuterTV variant has the kid-friendly version of the theme with various cartoon sound effects.
