Background

Italia 9 Network was a television syndication founded in December 22 of 1987 by Giancarlo Ginepro.

1st ID (December 22, 1987-1990)

Visuals: On a blue-light blue gradient background, there is an "i.9" symbol facing downwards before moving and facing forwards to the middle. The separated words "NETWORK" assemble towards the middle from the bottom, with trails following it.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: A synthesized rhythm with a male voiceover singing the company's name.

2nd ID (1991?-unknown retirement year)

Visuals: Against a navy-orange gradient space background with a green hill on the bottom, the map of Italy in green slides downwards, thus having subsequent gold TV tube shapes rising from the map. There is a silver rectangle with 30 TV tube shape cutouts on it above facing upwards. Said shapes then connect towards the rectangle, thus making the rectangle, along with the shapes rotate and face forwards as the map of Italy sweeps out. It zooms through the 4th column and 3rd row of the rectangle, making the TV tube shape on said column and row sweep out of the rectangle. Behind it was "ITALIA 9 NETWORK" in a stacked format on a perspective angle, zooming into one of the cutouts from the rectangle. Various sparkles appear on "NETWORK".

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A deep synth note that segues into a less-triumphant theme with synth chimes and a male voiceover singing the company's name.
