Background

Independent Bishkek Television is a Kyrgyz television channel that was founded in 1996. The station is broadcast across the city of Bishkek and can also be accessed as far as Belovodskoe and Kemin in the Chui Region.

ID (1996-1999)

Visuals: Three lines of close-up text, each one red, green or blue, are spinning around over a black background, occasionally fading out and in. An italicised red "Н" draws itself in on the left, flashing a light once finished. This is followed with a green "Б", then a blue "Т" appearing and flashing in the same manner as the "Н". is seen fading in and out thrice behind the three letters, with a light shining across the text. Once "НБТ" is fully formed and the background text appears the second time, "БИШКЕК", written with a white outline, wipes itself in from left to right, shining a light as it does so. The background then fades to black before the logo also fades out.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A proud, cinematic 5 note orchestral fanfare.
