America Te Ve

Logo (1991-1993)

Visuals: On a chrome blue floor with an cloudy sky, several medal cylinders rise out of the ground as the camera steers to the right. It then steers to the left twice as the cylinders rise up, before flying away from them, revealing they formed a map of the Americas. An parallelogram made of red and green triangles flies up and splits up as 2 rectangles form a "T", creating an abstract "ATV". The map and letters then stop at an angle as a blue rectangle spins into place below the logo. "AMERICA" flies in to the left side while "TE VE" flies in to the right. The logo shines as station info appears in the bottom right corner.

Variant: A short version with the logo on a black background exists.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: An upbeat synth fanfare with an announcer saying "LS 86, TV Canal 2, La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina". The short version has an loud orchestral tune.

America 2

1st ID (1993-1994)

2nd ID (1994)

Visuals: On a city evening, the camera quickly pans up a tall skyscraper with searchlights, as comets periodically swoop across the sky. As it reaches the top of the skyscraper, offices can be seen through the windows before stopping at the top, where a large silver ring and the glowing blue text "AMERICA" rest on top, and a skyline is visible in the background. The ring then revolves with other rings behind it, before they all fuse back into one ring, as 2 streaks swoop around and form the "2" from the previous logo. The searchlights continue to move until the logo fades out.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A triumphant synth fanfare.

Availability: Was used as an ID for the channel at the time.

3rd ID (1994-1995)

Visuals: On a gradient blue background, 4 streaks of yellow, red, purple, and green fly across the screen, leaving behind 4 squares. The "2" from the previous logos, now encased in a ring, zooms out and the rings revolve around the logo as the inside fades to blue.
