Background
Inevitable Entertainment was founded in 2000 by former employees of Acclaim Studios Austin. The studio was working on Area 51 (2005) when it was acquired by Midway Games and was renamed to "Midway Studios Austin". In 2008, Midway closed the studio with its unfinished projects following the rushed production and low sales of BlackSite: Area 51.
Logo (September 23, 2002-November 23, 2003)
Visuals: The whole logo is made in black and white. First, there is a shelf in a spot of light, where a diamond lies and flashes. Then, there is glass breaking and the light moves to show a thief jumping from above. The light spot moves again to show four more thieves jumping from various sides and the last one appears close to the diamond and reaches his arm. This makes the picture freeze still and surrounded with an upset triangle frame with the word "INEVITABLE" in white above.
Technique: 2D digital animation.
Audio: Sounds of the diamond shining and glass breaking, followed by a short electronic entry, which ends with triple frame clattering.
Availability: Seen on Tribes: Aerial Assault, Defender (GameCube and Xbox versions) and The Hobbit.
