Background

Sandbox Productions (also known as Sandbox Entertainment) is the film and TV arm of artist management company Sandbox, founded in September 2010 by long-time record executive Jason Owen, after stepping down from Universal Music Nashville. The company went into said business in 2017.

Logo (September 18, 2017-)

Visuals: Over a black background, the logo starts with gray sand pouring down from the top of the screen to form the company logo, with "BOX" in a bordered rectangle and "PRODUCTIONS" in small spaced-out letters below. The sand then disappears after it has finished, as we see the full logo.

Variants:

  • During the early usage of this logo, it was in a white rectangle with the logo in gray, and the below text reads "ENTERTAINMENT". It is also still.
  • On Monarch, the logo is next to The Jackal Group logo.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: An ambient tune with the sound of sand pouring. Otherwise, it uses the closing theme or none.

Availability: Seen on projects produced by the company, such as Pickler & Ben, Tim & Faith: Soul2Soul, Kimberly’s Simply Southern, Shania: Still the One Live from Vegas, The Kacey Musgraves Christmas Show, Love Tom, and Monarch.
