Background

Level 1 Entertainment is a film-financing company, formed by Bill Todman, Jr. (the son of the game show producer) and Edward Milstein in 2003.

1st Logo (January 6, 2006-February 1, 2008)


Visuals: Over a blue background, squares zoom out to form a big square, and as the square finishes, the light is shown inside one of the squares. There is a filmstrip with "L1" and underneath is the words "LEVEL 1" and "E N T E R T A I N M E N T." The words shine.

Technique: CGI by Framework Studio.

Audio:

  • Grandma's Boy: A series of quiet electronic beats, ending with 2 loud clangs and a whoosh.
  • Rendition: The opening theme of the movie.
  • Strange Wilderness: A whimsical orchestral fanfare.

2nd Logo (March 29, 2013)

Visuals: Over a dark-blue background, golden rounded squares move one-by-one, lining up. They get up with filmstrips on the edges on every one of them. The squares move, leaving a trail of outlined filmstrips, forming a updated cersion of the logo from the first logo. The same text appears below as the logo zooms out, shining.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: None.
