Not to be confused with Sono Art-World Wide Pictures.

Background

This was a company that made Christian movies. It also ran a home video division.

1st Logo (1995?-2005?)

Visuals: Essentially just these words either on a black background or superimposed over the trailer's first shot:

WORLD WIDE
PICTURES

Technique: A still, computerized graphic.

Audio: The opening/closing theme of the trailer.

Availability: Appears on trailers for films made by the company, including those of A Vow to Cherish and Something to Sing About.

2nd Logo (1996?-2008?)

Visuals: A blue sphere with "WWP" embossed in it and a gold ring around it and "W O R L D W I D E P I C T U R E S" below that are shown on a black background in several close-up shots, ending with the camera zooming out to reveal the whole logo. A spark flies from behind the sphere, goes past the text and toward the camera, and flies offscreen.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A 15-note fanfare; notes 4 and 8 are orchestral hits, and the last note is held out. When the spark flies by, a whoosh is heard.

Availability: Appears on movies made by the company, including The Homecoming, A Vow to Cherish, Something to Sing About, The Climb and Road to Redemption. It is left intact on VHS and DVD releases.
