Background

This is Jonathan Prince's vanity card.

Logo (January 4, 1998-September 15, 2009)

Visuals: On a rough paper background that changes textures each frame, there is a hand-drawn frog with a gold crown on its head, looking at the scribbly text "ONCE A FROG". It then eats the text while it still has a neutral expression.

Variants:

  • Sometimes, it shares the screen with other logos.
  • On CBS airings of Cane, the logo is seen over the split-screen credits for some bizarre reason.

Technique: Cel animation that also interpolates each frame.

Audio: A 3-note violin with a swallow sound (the latter is sometimes absent); original network airings use a generic theme. On Holidaze: The Christmas That Almost Didn't Happen, none. On The Cleaner, the closing theme of the show plays.

Audio Variant: On Ask Harriet, the theme from the Bris Entertainment logo plays.

Availability: Seen on Ask Harriet, Holidaze: The Christmas That Almost Didn't Happen, Cane, American Dreams, The Cleaner and American Soul.
