Background

Varsity Pictures is an American film and television production company founded in 2007 by Sharla Sumpter Bridgett (who would later go on to form her own sole company, Sumpter Bridgett Productions) and Brian Robbins (who previously founded Tollin/Robbins Productions with Mike Tollin).

Logo (February 8, 2009-)

Visuals: On a black background, a blue film reel piece with a "V" on it zooms in from the front of the screen, as the words "VARSITY PICTURES" are shined onto the screen under the logo.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A few whooshes accompanied by the sound of an old film camera.

Audio Variant: On the first episode of So Random!, the sounds are delayed for a few seconds, and played after the amount of time, but cut off due to the It's a Laugh Productions logo following this.

Availability: Seen on films, TV movies and shows produced by the company including Sonny with a Chance, So Random!, Fred: The Movie, Fred: The Show, and A Thousand Words, among others.
