Background

REO Motor Car Company was an automobile, truck and bus manufacturer in Lansing, Michigan, founded in 1905 by Ransom Eli Olds, who had previously founded the Oldsmobile company (originally known as Olds Motor Works) in 1897. REO-Grams was the newsreel division of Olds' company and produced films for display in the REO Clubhouse from 1915 to 1930.
