Background

This is the production company of Paul Reubens. It produced two productions, both of which starred Reubens as his character Pee-Wee Herman: the television series Pee-Wee's Playhouse and the Netflix film Pee-Wee's Big Holiday. The company has likely gone dormant afterwards, especially after Reubens died on July 30, 2023.

Each object has it's own animation:

  • 1st P: A worm moving his head.
  • 1st E: The head of a guy shaving his beard.
  • 2nd E: A hammer assembling the letter, which it's made out of wood.
  • -: A bee shaking his body.
  • W: An octopus moving his tentacles.
  • 3rd E: A guy assembling the letter with bricks.
  • 4th E: A snake moving his body.
  • 2nd P: A cactus with a muscle.
  • I: A volcano belching.
  • C: A dog mouth opening and closing.
  • T: A scarecrow shaking his hands.
  • U: A dolphin opening and closing his body.
  • R: A brown long-nosed creature jumping.
  • 5th E: A girl with a big nose driving a car.
  • S: A ball falling down some stairs.

Above the logo is "A" in magenta and below that is "PRODUCTION" and a copyright date (which credits Paul Reubens) in small black childish text.

Variant: On Pee-Wee's Big Holiday, the "A", "PRODUCTION" and the copyright date are missing, and the logo is in 16:9 widescreen.

Technique: Stop-motion claymation.

Audio: 6 pops, 9 ukulele notes, and then 4 cello notes. This cycle repeats 3 times. This was composed by Mark Mothersbaugh of Devo.

Availability: Seen on all episodes of Pee-Wee's Playhouse. The logo was revived one time for Pee-Wee's Big Holiday.
