Background
Mandalay Vision (formerly Mandalay Independent Pictures) is the indie film division of Mandalay Pictures, founded in 2008. It is part of the Mandalay Entertainment Group.
Logo (March 14, 2008-)
Visuals: Same as the Mandalay Pictures logo, except the tiger print at the end is black-and-white, and in place of "P I C T U R E S", the text "V I S I O N" in a bubbly font appears via a shimmering effect.
Variants:
- On Never Back Down (the first film from the company), the text "I N D E P E N D E N T P I C T U R E S" is seen below the logo.
- Some films have "V I S I O N" in a white font. In addition, what was orange on the original tiger print is a slight goldish brown here.
Technique: Live action combined with 2D computer graphics, done by Picturemill.
Audio: Same as the Mandalay Pictures logo.
Availability: Appears on such films as Never Back Down, The Kids Are All Right, Soul Surfer, Vanishing on 7th Street, Bernie and The Voices, among others.
