Background

June Pictures was a production company launched by Alex Saks and Andrew Duncan on February 25, 2016, that specialised in film/documentary production and financing. On December 14, 2017, the latter stepped down from the company after accusations of sexual misconduct came to light, with Saks assuming sole ownership in a statement. The company was shut down the following year.

Logo (March 12, 2016-May 18, 2018)

Visuals: Against a daytime background that has a sun and seagulls in the distance, there is a beach area with moving grass and a path. As flowers begin to grow in the grass, the camera slightly moves down as a girl in a dress is seen riding on a bike, with her dog following as she smiles. The picture then zooms out onto a black background and freezes, as the company name, in a large white font appears below in an arc.

Closing Variant: Just the print version of the logo, sharing the screen with other logos.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: Just the sound of ambience, with bike sounds, a dog barking and seagull noises, which dies down as the logo forms. Otherwise, none or the opening/closing theme of the film.

Availability: Seen on all projects from the company, starting with Operator and ending with Book Club.
