Background

This is the production company of actress Patricia Heaton and her husband David Hunt, founded in 2001. It is named after the couple’s four sons, hence the name.

1st Logo (November 20, 2005-)

Visuals: Against a black background, a pair of white shoes swing on wires against an orange-gold dusk. Underneath the shoes, there is "FourBoys" with "ENTERTAINMENT" underneath.

Variants:

  • During the early usage of this logo, the text below read "FourBoysFilms". The sequence also zooms out.
  • A still version exists.
  • On Christmas at Cartwright's, a different version is used. It is on a white background with the logo shown horizontally, and the shoes are more realistic and in a different position, which is closeup. The text appears to the right of it in a black color with a line sandwiched between it, and the entire logo is also surrounded in a rectangle.

Technique: 2D animation by Z Animation.

Audio: A crowd of boys saying "Nice!" or the opening/closing theme.

Availability: First seen on The Engagement Ring. Also seen on Moms' Night Out, Carol's Second Act, and the Hallmark film Christmas at Cartwright's.

2nd Logo (February 1, 2023)

Visuals: On a black background, the shoes from before fall down and land on a surface while facing the screen. Then, the text from before fades in while decreasing and increasing in spacing for "FourBoys" and "ENTERTAINMENT" respectively.

Technique: Live-action and Flash animation.

Audio: A few children are heard laughing before a large group of them cheer (which is recycled from the previous logo) as the company name appears.

Availability: So far, the logo appeared on Unexpected.
