Background

Cobalt Media Group was a British-American film financing and distribution company, originally formed in 1999 as MM Media Capital. The name change came in 2001, after the company expanded from film financing to sales and distribution.[1] In 2003, the company was purchased by and absorbed into Winchester Films,[2] who themselves were purchased by and absorbed into ContentFilm the next year.
