Visuals: First, we very quickly flash by multiple black paint strokes before rising up to a gray canvas. The strokes create a male and female figure walking to each other on a curved ground. Then, the shot transforms into a black bird flying around through the clouds. It also leaves over some small, faint paint strokes, indicating feathers, some of which creates other flying black birds. Later on, it is shown that they are flying over some mountains and a long stand. Moving closer to the stand, the word "blackbird" writes by itself within the stand, some feathers are seen falling on the right side, and then one of the birds fly over it, eventually freezing in place.

Technique: Oil paint animation.

Audio: The opening of the movie.

Availability: Seen on Max Rose.
