Background

Milestone was founded in 1990 in New York City by Dennis Doros and Amy Heller to research and distribute quality films from around the world, mainly independent films, documentaries, and foreign films. Martin Scorsese and Woody Allen have presented Milestone material in the past.

Logo (1990- )

Visuals: On a black background, MILESTONE wipes in place. "a", "film" and "release" fade in respectively in their places, along with a diamond.

Variant: The logo will come in either Gold, Yellow or White (if it's a B/W film).

Technique: A still, printed image.
