Background

Founded in 2000, Go Fish Pictures was a label of DreamWorks specializing in independent films and anime titles. However, this company didn't use an on-screen logo until the US release of Millennium Actress in 2003. The last film released through them was the Shochiku-produced Casshern in 2007.

Logo (September 12, 2003-October 16, 2007)

Visuals: On a black background, a ripple effect occurs. The ripple forms a rod that has caught a fish. Next to the fish and the rod is "GO FISH" and "PICTURES" underneath in the DreamWorks company font.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: Can be found on US DVD releases of Millennium Actress, Casshern, The ChumScrubber, and Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence. As Manga Entertainment and Bandai Entertainment's DVD releases of the latter were distributed under license from DreamWorks, this logo remains intact on those releases, however, it is not on the Funimation DVD and Blu-ray release due to it being licensed by Production I.G. instead.
