Visuals: It's almost the same as the 1st United/VCI Home Video warning screen, except it is in Helvetica Black font and the word "And" is in lowercase.

Variants:

  • Early tapes, such as Magee and the Lady, use the United/VCI warning with a purple background.
  • Starting in 1988, the background is black-blue gradient and the text is all in capitals with a slab-serif font (except "WARNING", "TITLE 17", "UNITED STATES CODE" and "SECTIONS 501 AND 506" in Helvetica Black font).
    • On the 1989 VHS releases of After School, Prince of Bel-Air, Grandma's House and White Hot, this variant is on a solid purplish-blue background.
