Edit Reversion

I know you have already manually reverted the edits on the 7th archive of the User Reports page, but there are some edits on the 8th archive that need to be reverted as well. This is obviously because users are not allowed to edit archives. Jecken (talk) 15:28, 25 August 2022 (UTC)

Users That Should Possibly Be Blocked

There are two users whom I think should possibly be blocked. The first user is Qamichelemir59. His section of the User Reports page is a good example of why they should possibly be blocked. Additionally, they have a potential sockpuppet account. The second user is 09limbua. While he is blocked from editing and creating new accounts, he is not blocked on his talk page. I just wanted to wish you a big thank you for temp blocking Sambarker04 - to be honest; I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with his edits.
All I was just trying to do was try to find a compromise between his speculations and the truly useful info he managed to find. I really wanted to work with him on that, but he refused to cooperate even an inch with me after a while.
While I know he meant well with his initial edits, he seemed to have at me once negotiations broke down.

P.S. When he comes back to appeal his edits - for my side of story, just know I was trying to give him as much leeway as I could. I'll also apologize for my aggressive edit summaries at the start of the disputes - I was hastily trying to remove things, and didn't think it through fully. A question regarding extensions

I previously asked this comment regarding extensions to another admin, but got no response within a day. I thought I would ask you about this.

Anyways, I am planning to give my userpage table a major overhaul by making it filterable, but may need two MediaWiki extensions in order for this to workː FilterableTables and BlueSpiceFoundation. Considering you are an admin, is it possible to request extensions on this site? Camenati (talk) 16:36, 24 September 2022 (UTC)

For some reason I'm not able to find the manage extensions page (at least easily) on my end, but I do see from the Extensions page on Meta that Miraheze doesn't include those extensions by default, so I have created a Phabricator task (T9769) requesting these extensions if possible! Got a reply back, unfortunately both extensions have been declined, as BlueSpice apparently modified MediaWiki too much and is also apparently a security risk according to the Meta page on Extensions while FilterableTables was also declined due to its dependency on BlueSpice. About That new Blank page rule.

yeah, like what if the user is busy doing something more important instead. It's like those rule on some online games that if you leave when you are playing a match, you will lose your point in the game or just block you from playing the mode that you've just played. The "No Blank Pages" rule has been on the wiki for a while and exists because pages that are created blank look lazy and thus detract from the quality of the wiki. Removing words

How do you get userboxes on your page?

We do have a template and category for Userboxes (Template:Userbox and), though I don't really know how to make my own. You could probably study and tinker with the source editor data of the userbox templates to learn how they work, but don't save any edits to the existing templates, please. You'll need to use your Wiki userpage to insert them. To add userboxes to your page, I suggest using this format that me and Hb1290 use for our wiki userpages for a neat look:

:::::{{Side box :::::|above=<center>'''Userboxes'''</center> :::::|text=<center>(userbox) :::::(userbox) :::::(userbox)</center>}} :::::

Use the Enter key between each new userbox added. If you want to copy this format, would suggest doing it from the Source editor since it has the line breaks that'll keep the userboxes easier to find and doesn't have those colons. Hope this helps! Odd Page That Needs Work

There is an odd page that needs work called Mippei Eiga Kiryūkan. This page was created by Jacknorrisbelike, who has previously been blocked twice due to rude behavior and poor conduct on his talk page, as well as edit warring despite being given a strong administrator warning. As for the page itself, he didn't bother adding in any information except for the Availability section, and the page also has very poor mistakes and grammar. The Background section has a portion with potential NSFW content and a link to one of the studio's full movies. Jecken (talk) 23:40, 20 October 2022 (UTC)

What Happened to Sagan Blob?

Hi Hibiscus it's me Jacknorris I saw that Parker-Stone Studios and a logo since I remember seeing the latest episodes of South Park And I saw that Parker-Stone Studios is not in the credits and also years ago Back then where I didn't have a CLG Wiki(AVID) account I saw this Parker-Stone Studios But I searched for this company but I didn't find ANY SCREENSHOT of the logo's end credits and not even the video Until years later when I saw that this logo is possibly fake I saw who made this page It was a person called Sagan Blob I searched for him but I didn't find the user's page I wanted to talk to him about why he did it and stop what he's going to do. I don't know what happened to him if he was blocked, banned or left account finally Parker-Stone will be deleted from the site.

You can strike through your vote by placing these "<s>" and "</s>" marks at the beginning and end of the vote in the source editor, so like "<s>(your vote)</s>". Hope that helps! HibiscusCrown20 (talk) 17:06, 5 November 2022 (UTC)

You see, I saw that Nico (yes, that's his real name), was starting to become a bother on his talk page by repeatedly begging to be unblocked, even after several other users said they gave him too many chances, and constantly was involved in edit wars and even swore in his edit summaries. I kindly told him that, since he was banned permanently, he probably should just move on and stop spamming his own talk page, which Nico responded by with getting angry and removing messages (take a look at his edit history). About my recent RFC

Recently you failed my RFC called "Outlaw section removal RFCs". You said that there was more Abstain and Oppose than Support, but when I looked at it, it says they are a tie. Also, why did you merge Abstain and Oppose? (• USER TALK! •) 21:49, 5 December 2022 (UTC)

I based the combination of both on what another administrator said about in the event that an RfC has more Abstains than Supports (which is that it wouldn't pass since there is no consensus within the community), though in retrospect I think that wasn't accurate or fair so I've changed it to No consensus for now on the grounds of the Support/Abstain split. Hi, after discussing with the staff on Discord, we've decided that we won't be passing this particular RfC per Blad's point and the fact that, while the section removal requests are silly, that we'd be promoting censorship on the wiki if it was passed, but we are planning on introducing new policies and procedures on how admins should handle RfCs in situations needing their personal intervention. Why everyone is doing the editing war of Deluxe Digital Studios?

Taken directly from my forum. Why everyone is doing editing wars of Deluxe Digital Studios? Users such as Aidan Clark are waging editing wars from Deluxe Digital Studios. My idea is to make a deletion message for it to be deleted and redone by the administrators and put the message saying "No one can make edit wars on that page unless it's going to be blocked indefinitely but they can only make small edits that don't have grammar mistakes or anything like that." Hi, thank you for bringing this issue to my attention. I admit the original block I gave to the account in question wasn't adequate enough considering what it was issued for, and it was irresponsible of me to not report it to Trust and Safety upon discovering the account holder was underage. I originally blocked the account for a year since the account holder was one year below the minimum age requirement and as to allow them back once they turned the minimum age, but looking back, my reasoning for only giving that local block and nothing else was deeply flawed and inexcusable considering how it didn't stop said user from editing other wikis on the Miraheze, and I absolutely should have reported the account to T&S upon finding out that user was underaged. I dearly apologize for not doing so and will do my best to report any future underaged users discovered on here. HibiscusCrown20 (talk) 07:46, 8 January 2023 (UTC)
