1st Logo (December 14, 2007-July 2, 2008)


Logo: We see a painted picture of the road, surrounded by autumn trees. It starts zooming into a box, and we see a fence with a chain blocking the way with the banner attached to the chain. The leaves fall from the trees as it stops zooming back. The white words "Weed Road Pictures" fades in underneath.

Variant:

  • On Hancock, it cuts from the preceeding Overbrook Entertainment logo to the version that begins with a zoom out. After a few seconds when the text fades in, it cuts to the Blue Light logo.
  • There is a version where the animation is the same but without the leaves falling and the chain is nowhere to be seen.

FX/SFX: Leaves falling and banner floating using Flash animation.

Music/Sounds Variants:

  • The normal version as seen on I Am Legend has the opening interview that plays over the precceding Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures logos and the following OE logo can be heard throughout.
  • On the movie Hancock this variation has the harmonica of the opening song that preceeding the same logo and following the Blue Light logo playing through over it

2nd Logo (April 23, 2010-)


Logo: We move forward upon the grass, looking at the ground, and bump into the wooden gate blocking the road, with an old yellow banner reading "WEED ROAD". Then the lower section flips on, reading "PICTURES". There are flowers around the gate when the background becomes black.

FX/SFX: TBA

Variants:

  • On the trailer for Losers, the logo is made from pink paint. The film itself used the cartoon strip sequence of logos with Weed Road among them.
  • On the trailer for Jonah Hex, the logo also used several custom designs.

Music/Sounds: TBA

Availability: Seen on Jonah Hex. Variants appeared on The Losers and the trailers for these films. It was also seen on Titans.
