Include audio files of logo soundtracks on the site
We are talking about extended versions of soundtracks and previously missing audio created specifically for logos. For both, they fit within the scope of the wiki. They play a key aspect in an audiovisual identity's presentation (they're not just visual representations) as they establish the brand's identity through memorable jingles or synchronization. However, the biggest purpose for their inclusion on the site is preservation, especially for readers who are curious to see what the full version of the logo's soundtrack is like (e.g. ABC's idents from the 70's) or how it can act as partially found media for a lost identity (e.g. T.A.T.'s soundtrack). Videos, as well as uploads of any format featuring full/missing audio soundtracks are allowed, given they are labelled as audio tracks to distinguish them from the actual identity. There are exceptions to audio file inclusions on the site, as full versions of music that fall in popular, library, etc. category won't be included since they are not directly related to identities, or they were not composed specifically for them. Additionally, audio that appears in a video with both audio and visual components of the logo (in which said audio is featured) will not be counted as they are redundant. This exception usually applies to normal versions of identity audio as extended/missing audio soundtracks can't be found on normal identity captures. Camenati (talk) 18:48, 13 May 2023 (UTC)

- Support I think this would work but only in very specific contexts where there's absolutely no video footage available for an article, like with the T.A.T. page, or if there's an extended version of a soundtrack not featured in any known captures of a particular logo. - Not sure exactly how we'll implement this but I Support this idea. User:AUnnamedDragon 3:00 PM, May 13, 2023 (CET; time of page saving was 2:58 PM)
- Support. This will work wonders for stuff like TAT or the DTS Waterdrop. Dominicmgm (talk) 19:15, 13 May 2023 (UTC)
- I was initially going to oppose, but having seen that this only applies for logos that have confirmed audio but no confirmed visuals (like DTS Waterdrop or TAT), I can comfortably Support. (Lets chat!) 12:34, 14 May 2023 (UTC)

Abstain
Abstain IDK on one hand it would be cool, while on the other hand we already have them in the videos ForcedExcess26 (talk) 18:36, 13 May 2023 (UTC)
- Reworded my stance on the issue, since I didn't mention that in my argument, nor was I in favor of audio files that are already featured in identity captures with both aspects present. Camenati (talk) 18:48, 13 May 2023 (UTC)
