Background

Universal Studios Digital Arts was the development division of Universal Interactive Studios that was founded in 1998. So far, it only made Xena: Warrior Princess for the PlayStation in 1999.

Nicknames: "CGI Globe", "The Shimmering Globe", "The 3-D Zooming Text"

Logo: We see the tail end of the 1997 Universal Pictures logo starting with the logo zooming back, but it's shifted to the top. The stacked words, "UNIVERSAL STUDIOS DIGITAL ARTS" with "UNIVERSAL STUDIOS" above "DIGITAL ARTS" along with the copyright info with the website URL, "www.universalstudios.com" in it, appears under the logo. After the music ends, the Universal logo along with the copyright notice, fade out leaving only the "UNIVERSAL STUDIOS DIGITAL ARTS" text to move up. Then it zooms through the screen revealing the word, "PRESENTS" on the screen.

Variant: On the demo version of Xena: Warrior Princess, the website URL, "www.universalstudios.com" is under the "UNIVERSAL STUDIOS DIGITAL ARTS" and has a different copyright disclaimer (Back when 989 Studios was going to be the publisher around the time the demo was released, but the publishing duties were later handed to Electronic Arts before the game was released).

FX/SFX: The logo animation, the text zooming.

Music/Sounds: The 1997 Universal Television Entertainment (long version of Universal Television) logo theme. Then it's the sound of the whooshes when the text zooms through.

Availability: Ultra rare. It only appears on Xena: Warrior Princess for PlayStation. Also appears on the demo version of the said game (Which is found in Jampack Summer '99 demo disc).
