Do we merge this with SPT?

Let's settle this once and for all. Should these two pages be merged or not. Personally I was fine with them being merged. As far as I'm concerned, CTT is the same entity as SPT and just underwent a rebrand in 2002, but I'm happy to open this up for discussion. Talk · Edits 22:59, 10 April 2022 (UTC)

Of course. Columbia Pictures Television is a different company from Columbia TriStar Television & that was the same company from Sony Pictures Television. Also, did we even separate any companies even though they were the same exact company, but renamed it? Not in my eyes, especially with the deal for SPT. So yeah. TVB (talk) 23:04, 10 April 2022 (UTC)
I'm the one who did the merge (as well as the Screen Gems/CPT merge) a year ago. I did it since the other pages had all the logos of the rebranded company in one page (like the SPHE page). I apologize if my edits were too bold for the CLG, since bold edits like that are allowed on Wikipedia.
I think we should reach a conclusion for this. Should SPT and CTT be merged? And should Screen Gems and CPT be merged? We need to reach a consensus. Logohub (talk) 02:30, 11 April 2022 (UTC)
I do somewhat like the idea, but if you choose to merge the two I would also find it somewhat hypocritical, due to the fact the same thing happened with the Screen Gems Television and Columbia Pictures Television pages, but everybody was perfectly fine about that. The Columbia TriStar Television page states that in 2002, Columbia TriStar Television was reincorporated as Sony Pictures Television, while the Columbia Pictures Television page states that Screen Gems Television was reincorporated as Columbia Pictures Television. In fact, you guys were perfectly fine when IlCattivo25 reported Tobias Benson01 for adding the Screen Gems Television logos to the Columbia Pictures Television page due to MatthewLMayfield warning people about adding the Screen Gems Television logos to the Columbia Pictures Television page. I personally say the pages should remain split up. I know a lot of the home video division pages on this wiki are merged from different divisions, but I think the Sony TV companies are too distinctive/have too much info to simply merge all into one page, if that (somehow) makes sense. I see your point. Perhaps the Desilu/Paramount TV page should be split up too. Logohub (talk) 03:53, 12 April 2022 (UTC)
Yes, Desilu may not have many logos but it should be split up as well, in this case because its history is different enough to warrant its own page instead of being merged. CooleyBoy10 (talk) 15:34, 12 April 2022 (UTC)
Well, I just found out that Columbia TriStar International Television has been redirected here to form Sony Pictures Television International. ChowderRulez (talk) 02:24, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
